Technology upgrade: Re-wire, design and installation
X-SPACE. were engaged to design and install a technology re-wiring and upgrade solution for this 18th century farmhouse.
This project presented some interesting issues with the broadband where the existing connection was very poor and the prospect of a decent or fibre connection very remote. A multiple line solution was employed as well as a commercial specification wi-fi network to ensure full coverage throughout the residence.
A multi-zone audio and TV system was specified and installed with Sky Q and media server sources. Each zone was controlled by iPads. A high-end audiophile listening space was designed for the main living area to allow for more discerning listening of the client’s vinyl collection!
